GROSSMAN TRADING

Grossman Trading is a division of Grossman & Co., LLC, a registered broker-dealer and a member of FINRA, SIPC, and MSRB. The firm was founded in 1981 by Dennis Grossman. The Company engages in all types of investment services including managed accounts, traditional brokerage services, stocks, bonds, options, mutual funds, money market funds, private placements, retirement plans, etc. Grossman Trading is dedicated to servicing online traders and active traders via the internet or at our offices. The division recently reached a new milestone, a monthly trading volume surpassing one billion shares.

OUR FOUNDER

Dennis Grossman has continuously owned and managed Grossman & Co., LLC since founding it in 1981. Mr. Grossman has a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business of the University of Chicago. While a student at Chicago, Mr. Grossman worked for the Center for Research in Security Prices.

"My objective in starting Grossman & Co., LLC was to help clients make money. I have managed discretionary accounts since 1981 and continue to do so.

In 1994 I led the firm into the relatively new world of day trading and online trading. I was one of the earliest members of the Electronic Traders Association and served on its Board of Directors. I wrote multiple opinion letters to the SEC regarding trading policies and rules.

 

As a trader, I have personally entered more than a million trades. I am intimately familiar with the problems and concerns of day traders.

OUR CLEARING FIRM

Penson Financial Services, Inc. is our clearing firm. They provide all our back office functions such as holding stocks and cash, collecting dividends, providing statements, confirmations, and 1099s, etc. Penson is particularly adept at handling the large volumes of transactions created by day traders.
